Your journey spans IT, pharmacy, and social work—how do you balance such diverse roles while excelling in all?

At first glance, IT, pharmacy, and social work appear to be completely different paths, yet for me, they have always been interconnected pieces of the same larger mission. IT gave me a foundation of logic, efficiency, and problem-solving. The pharmacy gave me knowledge of health and well-being. Social work gave me the purpose to bring these tools together for the benefit of society. Instead of looking at these as separate careers, I see them as complementary streams feeding into one river of service.

Balancing these roles, however, has required discipline and resilience. There were times when my IT work demanded long hours, my healthcare initiatives needed urgent attention, and my social service commitments also required my presence. In those moments, time management became my strongest ally. I learned to prioritise without losing focus, dedicating time where the need was greatest while still maintaining consistency in all areas. I often worked sleepless nights, constantly multitasking, and there were moments when self-doubt crept in. But my vision—to create a meaningful impact—kept me moving forward.

The key was always alignment. I never allowed myself to see IT, healthcare, and social services as competing roles. Instead, I asked: how can my IT skills make healthcare delivery better? How can my healthcare knowledge strengthen my social initiatives? How can my social work experiences shape my innovations in technology? That mindset allowed me to merge my diverse roles seamlessly. Today, I look back and realise that the balance was never about dividing myself between different careers—it was about uniting them under a single mission of serving humanity.

What key milestones do you feel have defined your journey since you started, and what achievements are you most proud of?

When I look back at my journey, a few milestones stand out as defining moments that shaped both my path and my perspective. One such milestone was when I successfully initiated community programs that combined technology, healthcare, and social awareness. Bringing these disciplines together wasn't easy—it required convincing stakeholders, building trust among communities, and ensuring sustainability. But once it took root, I saw firsthand how a multidisciplinary approach solved problems that single solutions could not. This proved to me that innovation is not always about inventing something new—it is often about connecting existing resources in meaningful ways.

Another milestone was being recognised as a Top 50 Achiever and later being honoured as a Most Inspiring Social Activist. While awards are not the reason I do what I do, these acknowledgements reminded me that my work was creating ripples beyond the immediate communities I was serving. They validated years of persistence, sacrifices, and struggles, showing me that the journey was not just personal—it was part of a larger movement that others found inspiring.

Perhaps the achievement I am most proud of, however, is mentoring young people. Many of them came to me unsure of how to channel their talents, and today, they are changemakers in their own right. To see their growth, their confidence, and their ability to lead gives me more satisfaction than any trophy could. Still, the greatest milestones are not measured by awards or recognition but by lives touched—the student who could continue education because of a scholarship, the patient who received timely treatment, the family that found hope during difficult times. These are the true markers of success for me, and they define my journey more than anything else.

In today's digital era, how do you see technology shaping social change and community service?

I firmly believe that technology has become one of the most powerful tools for driving social change in today's world. It has completely transformed the way we connect, organise, and mobilise. Where once community service was limited by geography, today technology allows us to reach across borders, bring people together, and create global movements for local causes. Digital platforms amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard, and in doing so, they bring marginalised communities into the mainstream conversation.

For example, crowdfunding platforms now allow individuals with limited resources to raise funds for education, healthcare, or disaster relief in a matter of hours. E-learning platforms provide access to quality education for children in remote areas. Telemedicine makes healthcare accessible to those who cannot easily reach hospitals. Social media campaigns raise awareness on issues like climate change, gender equality, and health awareness, inspiring collective action at a scale that was unimaginable just two decades ago.

Technology also plays a key role in accountability and efficiency. With data analytics, we can ensure resources are used effectively, track the impact of initiatives, and adjust strategies for better results. Transparency in fundraising and project execution builds trust, which is essential for community engagement.

For me, the most beautiful part is how technology turns compassion into action at lightning speed. A message, a post, or a campaign can mobilise thousands in minutes. In essence, technology has transformed service from being an act of charity to becoming a movement of shared humanity. It has allowed us to scale empathy, and that, in my view, is the most powerful change of all.

What core values or daily habits drive your consistent success across multiple fields?

My success in diverse fields has never been accidental—it is rooted in the values and habits I consciously nurture every day. Three values, in particular, form the backbone of my journey: discipline, adaptability, and empathy. Discipline ensures that I remain consistent. It is what makes me wake up each day ready to learn, contribute, and grow. Without discipline, vision remains a dream. Adaptability allows me to embrace change and uncertainty. Life rarely goes according to plan, and I have faced setbacks, financial struggles, and failures. Instead of resisting these, I embraced them as opportunities to innovate and improve. Empathy is what keeps me grounded. No matter how much we achieve, if we cannot connect to people's struggles and aspirations, our success becomes hollow.

My daily habits reflect these values. I dedicate time each day to structured learning—whether through books, research papers, or meaningful discussions. I practice reflection, where I revisit my day, analyse what went right, what went wrong, and how I can improve tomorrow. I also make it a point to stay mindful—being present in conversations, valuing people's time, and giving attention to their needs. Careful planning is another habit that drives my productivity. By breaking big goals into manageable tasks, I ensure progress is steady and measurable.

These habits may sound simple, but over time, they have built resilience, balance, and clarity in my life. They have allowed me to sustain work across multiple fields without burning out or losing focus. Ultimately, values and habits are what shape destiny. And I believe that as long as I remain disciplined, adaptable, and empathetic, I can continue to create meaningful impact no matter what challenges come my way.

What message would you like to give to young professionals who aspire to create both impact and recognition like you?

My message to young professionals is straightforward: always pursue impact before recognition. Recognition is not the goal—it is the byproduct of meaningful work. If your efforts truly improve lives, recognition will naturally follow. Too often, people chase awards, fame, or validation, forgetting that the real legacy comes from how many lives you touch and how much positive change you create.

Start small but stay consistent. Discipline is far more valuable than occasional bursts of effort. A small act of kindness repeated daily has more power than a grand gesture done once. Invest in lifelong learning. The world is changing rapidly, and adaptability is the key to survival and success. Do not be afraid to unlearn and relearn as times evolve. Integrity and empathy must be your guiding principles—without them, even the greatest achievements will feel empty.

Surround yourself with people who inspire you, challenge you, and guide you. Mentors are invaluable, but so are peers who encourage you to grow. At the same time, remain humble enough to learn from everyone—including failures, rejections, and struggles. Dream big, but remember that dreams become reality only through patience and persistent execution.

Above all, define your success not by the recognition you receive but by the difference you create. Recognition fades; impact lasts. If you focus on making lives better, the world will remember you for far more than an award or a title. That, I believe, is the true meaning of success.
